India China Economic and Cultural Council (ICEC) is hosting a High level Chinese delegation from China Railway Eryuan Engineering Group Co. Ltd. in February, 2012. CREEC is headquartered in Chengdu, Sichuan province and is affiliated to the listed company China Railway Group Limited, which is a “Fortune 500” company.

The purpose of the visit is to meet with officials from Railway Ministry of the central government, Central Railway and Western Railway to learn about the development and planning of Indian railways, the management mode of railway construction, and to discuss about if India would use Chinese technology and cooperate with Chinese enterprise to build railways in India, and to visit the Centre for Railway Information Systems. The delegation would visit Tata Consultancy Services, Infosys Company and Wipro Company to learn about the development mode and business mode of India software outsourcing industry, the basic requirement of India software outsourcing, and to discuss if India software companies would like to set up a delivery center in western China with the cooperation of CREEC.
