Jagat Shah is a certified cluster development practitioner, management consultant (CMC) & a trainer.

In last 22 years of his career, he has worked on export market strategies & management with Indian, Canadian, American, European & Chinese companies.  He has worked with cluster development approach on poverty alleviation & SME competitiveness with several governments & private sector in USA, Canada, Brazil, South Africa, China, Sweden, Finland, Oman, Italy, Brunei, Bangladesh & Afghanistan besides India. He contributes to these efforts from head office at Ahmedabad and 10 branch offices in 10 states in India.

He holds the following positions in various organizations:

• Trade & investment representative of Manitoba trade & investment, Govt. of Manitoba, Canada, in India.
• Member of International Advisory Board (IAB) of European ProClusters Association - EPROCA.
• Chairman of Indo Canadian Business Chamber ( ICBC ), Gujarat Chapter
